Course "Working with Clay"

Working with clay is a challenge that offers many opportunities to find or develop your creativity. The course "Working with Clay" is suitable for both beginners and advanced students.

The teacher is a qualified ceramist with years of experience. During the course, we will work with clay. We will apply multiple techniques through assignments, but free work is of course also allowed. After shaping your piece, we will decorate the works, and if you wish, glaze them.

The course consists of 5 or 10 lessons of 2.5 hours each (maximum 8 people per group). Beginners always start with a 5-lesson card; trial lessons are not possible. If you wish to continue the course after the 5 lessons, we will do so in mutual consultation.

Registration and Information

For more information or to register, please contact us. Our contact details can be found at the bottom of this page.

“Atelier Odette Regulations”

In principle, you always attend the class time for which you are registered. If this is not possible, please notify us 24 hours in advance; otherwise, the lesson will be deducted from your card.

In case of illness or vacation, you will receive 1 extra week per 5 weeks of lessons to make up for any canceled lessons (possibly at different times). With a 10-lesson card, in case of illness or vacation, you must complete the lessons within a maximum of 12 weeks.

Material, clay, and firing costs are included in the course price for regular quantities. These are more than sufficient for most participants. However, for pieces larger than 30 cm, pieces made in multiples (such as tiles), or pieces made at home, an additional charge applies. In such cases, ask Odette about the extra costs.
